Quick Tour of the Portfolio

Your portfolio is set up based on your program and therefore each portfolio has unique components. The basic components of the portfolio are explained below.

*You may see items in your portfolio that are not explained here. If you have questions about another specific part of the portfolio, please consult your program or ask one of our support team.

Navigating portfolio



Open a portfolio of yourself or one you have access to. Use the black menu on the left side of the page to navigate through the different sections of the portfolio.

Summary page



By default you land on the Summary page of the portfolio. Here all important information of the portfolio is briefly summarized, for example the current levels per professional activity, your last interviews or open learning objectives.


All learning activities



The All learning activities page provides an overview of the most recent learning activities added to the portfolio. The various filters at the top of the overview allow you to differentiate the type of form, such as an assessment, interview or activity or you have the option to select a specific time period from which you want to see the learning activities.



Residencies



The Residencies* page provides an overview of your relevant professional activities, learning activities and learning objectives within a given period. The training schedule contains all the residencies you have done during your training, your current residency and you also have the option to add future residency.

Based on the training schedule you entered, you will be notified two weeks before the start date of an residency to give the possible new department access through the access management. This allows supervisors to access your portfolio in time - but no longer than necessary.

It is possible to have several residencies in parallel, here it is important to set part-time components.

Interviews


The Interviews page shows the interview forms from conversations you had with your supervisor. Depending on the moment, there is a specific interview form. In the interview form you record the summary of the conversation and add it to your portfolio.

The standard types of interviews that can be added are: 'Introduction Interview', 'Progress Interview' and 'Final Interview'. This may differ for your program. The type of questions asked in the various interview forms are determined in advance together with the study program.

Education and Publications



In Education and Publication you can add all kinds of educational activities. Think of central or regional education days, test results and certificates of courses taken, depending on your education program.

The educational activities can be linked to relevant parts of the portfolio.

To add educational activities, choose the relevant category and click Add. Then go through the steps of the form. If you want to add a document as an attachment, you can do so in the last step of the form. When using the app, you can easily take a picture of a certificate, for example, and immediately upload it as evidence.

To some categories you cannot add educational activities yourself. These are added to the portfolio from a national or regional organization and then become visible in the portfolio.


Multisource feedback###



Through a mulitsource feedback, you ask for feedback on your performance over a period of time. You can ask respondents from different categories to provide feedback. The mulitsource feedback begins with a self-assessment and consists of a set of standard questions and items to assess. During the self-assessment, you assess the same items as the respondents. Once there are enough responses per respondent category, you can close the mulitsource feedback. Only at the time you close the mulitsource feedback do you see the respondents' responses. These are anonymous, which is why you also need to add multiple respondents per category.


Goals



In the Goals section, you have the space to further specify your own learning path. You can add your own personal learning objectives - separate from the desired learning outcomes of your program. You can link your learning objectives to relevant learning activities, discuss them during a meeting or add notes. You can show your growth per learning objective. You can add a target date on a learning objective and mark it as achieved when you have completed your learning objective.

In the training schedule you can specify where you gain experience per period. For example, you can add different teaching periods or residencies and corresponding supervisors.

Personal data###



At personal data you will find a quick overview of your important personal data, such as your email address. Here you also have the option of adding additional documents. Read more about this at
