Tips and tricks

Use the tips and tricks below to make even more effective and useful use of your Reconcept EPA account and portfolio.

Notes

Do you sometimes miss the edges of the paper, where you could so easily make a small note? This is where we came up with something. Supervisors and students can now place notes in portfolios. Here they can put loose remarks, as a reminder to themselves. The notes are only visible to the person who places them. Thus, users cannot see them. That makes this feature ideal for supervisors who miss the edges of the paper!

You'll find the feature to the right of the Dashboard button!

Narrative Feedback

Normally in the assessment overview you only see the levels, type of assessment and the corresponding level.

With the narrative feedback button, for each assessment you can also immediately read the concrete feedback points that led to the final level. To do this click on the button with 2 dashes next to each other in the upper right corner

Support Centra

Through the support centers in Reconcept EPA you can easily navigate to the documentation about your course and to our knowledge wiki. Additionally, you can directly get in touch with our support staff, for example to give feedback or suggestions to make Reconcept EPA better or to get in touch directly in case of a question You can find the support Centers via the question mark in the upper left corner

Multi source feedback

The Multi source feedback allows you to request feedback by you as a portfolio owner. The multi source feedback can be completed anonymously by anyone. Supervisors, teachers, coaches, peers, colleagues, you name it. Anyone with an email address can ask you for feedback on your overall performance, giving you a complete picture.

You can read the anonymous feedback, but you also get an overview in a chart like the one below, so you can see where there is the most growth to be gained.

Dual mode

Take benefit of dual mode so you can open two instruments at the same time. For example, an old interview next to the new one so you can compare. Or a interview and acompetence certificate together so you can fill them out at the same time.

You'll find the button next to the cross ✖️ and the minimize button ➖ .

➖ PS: By the way, that minimize button is also very handy. It allows you to minimize an instrument. It will then appear at the bottom of your screen. Then you can scroll through the portfolio and open other conversations or instruments. Once you have found what you were looking for, you can quickly maximize the other instrument again and continue working in it.
