Roles & Rights

The role you set for a user determines the authorizations and access rights in portfolios. The training determines in advance which roles get which privileges and access rights. It is therefore important that you always give the correct role to a user! With maximum authorizations you can change levels of competence in portfolios and only persons who are authorized to do so may grant this. It is important to note that there is a difference in a user's permissions and viewing rights to the portfolio.

Permissions in a portfolio



The organization you work for creates an account for you and sets a role for you. Depending on your role, you will be given certain access in a portfolio.

Upgrading roles: In some cases, portfolio owners themselves can "upgrade" a role for their portfolio so that a supervisor gains additional access. This is the case, for example, of a staff member who is also an residency supervisor.

Viewing rights in a portfolio



The amount of viewing rights you have as a supervisor in a portfolio depends on how much access a portfolio owner has given you. The portfolio owner can give additional access or revoke access. More information about your roles and access can be found in Viewing rights
