How do I successfully transfer EPASS to Reconcept EPA Portfolio?
If you have worked with EPASS before, it is possible to transer the data from it to your current portfolio. Follow these steps:
Complete EPASS. Make sure that you have completed an approves all forms in EPASS before creating an export. This is because unapproved forms will be lost in the export.
Export your EPASS protfolio. To do this, follow these steps:
Log in to EPASS
Click on 'Profile' at the top of the screen
In the submenu, click on the 'Export portfolio data' link
Choose the options 'All validated forms including corresponding attachment'. You will now get a .zip file with all your validated forms. It may take a while for the export to be ready in EPASS. While downloading, you can just log out and download it later.
Please note that once you have created an export, you should no longer use EPASS.
Make sure that the language settings of EPASS are set to English.
Make sure that you have downloaded a zip.file from EPASS, you cannot 'dress up' a folder as a zip.file yourself. Then it will not succeed in importing your data.
If you are working on a Macbook, it could be that your export from EPASS is a folder and not a zip.file. Try to do the download again on another (windows) device so that you get a zip.file.
Do not unzip the zip.file in between downloads, but upload it directly into Reconcept EPA Portfolio.
