Can I give an external assessor a role in my organization?

As an administrator, you should usualy only add trusted users who have a permanent role in your organization. If you add someone, they will be findable for all learners in your organization and, depending on the personal settings of the learners, may also automatically gain access to their portfolios. It is possible to add individuals who, strictly speaking, do not work in your organization but do have a permanent role as part of the training group; you as an administrator can do this at your own discretion.

If someone only gives an assessment occasionally, the learner can also invite them by email for individual assessments. It could also be that the external assessor already has a role in another organization; in that case, the portfolio owner can grant the external assessor access until the assessment is approved. You as an administrator do not need to perform any action for this.
