Viewing progress on a skill

Every active skill in a portfolio has its own detail page. This page contains the current entrustment level and a complete overview of the progress the learner has made regarding this specific skill.

The progress chart

The progress chart visualizes the learner's development over time. The vertical axis displays the various entrustment levels associated with this type of skill. The formal entrustment level at any given time is shown through colored bars; yellow for lower levels and green for independent levels. Individual feedback or assessment moments are shown as blue dots on the timeline. The height of a dot corresponds to the informal, formative assessment made by the assessor during that snapshot. It is expected that these dots are at least at the formal level and will increasingly appear above it as time progresses, until the formal level itself is raised. If configured by the training program, gray bars in the background show the expected progression, allowing you to see if the learner is on track.

Personal goals

Below the progress chart, you will find an overview of the specific personal goals linked to this skill. New learning goals can also be created here. This allows the learner to specify exactly what is needed to further develop a skill. Read more about personal goals in the Personal Goals section.

Expected number of assessments

Depending on the setup of the training program, a block may be displayed showing the expected number of assessments for a skill. The information in this block is purely informative; the number of assessments does not block the ability to issue an entrustment statement.
