Changing a user's role

If the position or role of a team member in your organization changes, you can modify their role in Reconcept. This ensures that the user always maintains the permissions that match their current activities.

Adjusting the role

To change the role of an existing user, go to User Management > Users in this organization and click on the relevant user. Then choose Change role. You will see the current role(s) of this user and the associated permissions. Select a new role from the dropdown menu and click Save to implement the change.

Deactivating a portfolio during role change

If the user has an active portfolio, you will be asked if you want to deactivate that portfolio. This is not mandatory but is desirable in many cases. For example, consider a situation where a resident completes their training and continues working in the organization as a staff member.

Multiple types of portfolios

If multiple types of portfolios are used in your organization, you will see the role the user has for each type of portfolio in this overview. These roles may differ. When changing the role, keep in mind that you may want to do this for all types of portfolios individually to keep access consistent.
