Completing or temporarily deactivating a portfolio
When a training program or onboarding process is completed or temporarily interrupted, it is wise to deactivate a portfolio. This prevents unnecessary costs.
How to deactivate a portfolio
To deactivate a portfolio, go to User Management > Users in this organization or to the Active Portfolios overview and click on the relevant user. You will see the active portfolios for this user. Select the option Temporarily deactivate.
You can choose whether a portfolio is temporarily deactivated or has been completed. In both cases, billing for the portfolio in question will stop. Choose temporary deactivation if the learner is likely to continue with this portfolio later, for example, in the case of parental leave. In both cases, you can reactivate the portfolio later if necessary.

Consequences for access
When a portfolio is deactivated, all access rights are revoked. Only the portfolio owner retains access to their own portfolio but cannot add anything to it.
Reactivation
The same interface can be used to reactivate a portfolio at a later time. If a portfolio is reactivated at a later date, access rights are not automatically restored for privacy reasons. However, the portfolio owner can easily reactivate these for the relevant persons through access management.
