Removing a user from the organization

If a user is no longer employed in your organization or department, you can remove them from the organization. This ensures the person is no longer visible in your user list and no longer holds permissions based on the organization.

Removing a user

To remove a user from your organization, go to User Management > Users in this organization and click on the relevant user. Then click Remove from organization.

If the user still has an active portfolio, you will be asked whether you want to temporarily deactivate this portfolio or mark it as completed. The user always retains access to the content of their own portfolio, even after being removed from the organization.

Additional information

Consequences for access

When you remove a user from your organization, all portfolio roles and the associated access based on that specific organization role are also immediately revoked.

Role versus account

Keep in mind that this action only removes the user's role within your organization and not the user's entire account. This is because a user in Reconcept can hold roles in multiple organizations or have access to various portfolios independent of your department. At the user's own request, an account can be completely removed from the system.
