Deleting your account

If you no longer wish to use the platform, you have the option to delete your entire Reconcept account. You can find this option in the web environment by clicking on your initials or profile picture in the top right corner and then navigating to Delete account.

Consequences of deletion

Deleting your account is a permanent action. Once you confirm the deletion, all stored data will be lost indefinitely. Please note that the account cannot be restored, neither by yourself nor by Reconcept staff. Therefore, ensure that you have downloaded any important documents or exports from your portfolio before taking this step.

Availability

The functionality to delete an account is currently only available in the web environment. This option is not yet present in the mobile app.

Visibility in other users' portfolios

Although your own account and portfolio will be erased, your name will remain visible on assessments, meeting reports, or other forms you have completed in the past for the portfolios of other users. This is necessary to guarantee the integrity and history of the evidence within the portfolios of those learners.
