Approving with facial recognition or fingerprint

Using the Reconcept app becomes even easier when you choose biometric security. Wherever the app would normally prompt for a PIN, you can use facial recognition or your fingerprint. This speeds up the process of logging in and approving items within your portfolio.

Activating biometrics

You can set up facial recognition or fingerprint recognition through the settings in the app. To do this, tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner and navigate to Settings. Here you will find the options Approve with facial recognition or Approve with fingerprint. Please note that these options are only visible if your specific device supports these technologies.

When you select the desired option, the app will guide you through several steps to complete the link. During this process, you will be asked to enter your current PIN one last time. After this verification, the PIN is securely stored on your device, allowing you to use your biometric data from then on.

Availability and requirements

This functionality is exclusively available in the Reconcept mobile app. These options do not appear in the web environment. Furthermore, this only works on smartphones or tablets that are physically equipped with sensors for fingerprints or facial recognition.

Privacy and security

Biometric verification takes place entirely locally on your own device. Reconcept does not have access to your fingerprint or facial data in any way, and this information is never sent to our servers.
