Notification settings
You can decide for yourself how and when you receive notifications from Reconcept. The platform offers options to adjust the frequency of email messages, manage push notifications on your mobile device, and enable or disable specific system notifications. In the web environment, you can find these options by clicking on your initials or profile picture in the top right corner. In the app, tap the profile icon in the bottom right and go to Settings, then Notifications.
Email notification frequency
You can set how often Reconcept sends an email with an overview of your current tasks or updates. You have three choices:
- Instantly: you receive an email for every new event.
- Summarized: you will receive one email every morning containing an overview of all current notifications, provided there are new updates.
- Never: ensures you no longer receive notification emails. However, we strongly advise against this, as it makes it easy to miss important requests.
Specific notifications for administrators
If you have an administrator role within the platform, you will see additional options in the overview. You can specify here whether you want to receive certain organizational notifications, such as information regarding billing. These settings are only available in the web environment.
Push notifications on your mobile device
In the mobile app, you can activate push notifications using a toggle. Once you turn this on, your device will ask for permission to display notifications. If you notice that you are not receiving notifications even though the toggle in the app is on, you may have denied permission at the system level in the past. In that case, go to your phone's general settings, locate the Reconcept app, and check if the notification permissions are enabled there.
