Changing your password

You can change your password in two ways: from your account settings if you are already logged in, or through a recovery procedure if you have forgotten your password. In both cases, we ensure that your account remains properly secured.

Forgot password

If you cannot log in because you no longer remember your password, you can use a recovery email. This allows you to set a new password without needing the old one. You can read more about how this process works in the article [link naar Je wachtwoord opnieuw instellen].

Changing password via settings

When you are logged in and want to update your password, you can do so in the web environment. Click on your initials or profile picture in the top right corner and navigate to your account settings. Select the option to change your password.

Security and password requirements

For your own security, we ask you to enter your current password before creating a new one. This ensures that it is indeed you making the change. Additionally, your new password must meet certain requirements for strong passwords. You will see these specific conditions on your screen as soon as you start typing your new password.

Availability in the app

Please note that the option to change your password via the settings is currently only available in the web environment. This functionality is not yet present in the mobile app.
