Articles on: Access management of a portfolio

Changing previously granted access

From Access Management, you as a portfolio owner can modify the access of users already linked to the portfolio at any time. This allows you to maintain control over who can see and do what.

Adjusting an existing role

If you want to change an existing role, click the pencil icon next to the person in question in the web environment. In the app, you do this by tapping the role itself. You will then see an overview of the specific role and the associated permissions this person has within the portfolio.

Activating and deactivating access

Using the displayed toggle, you can easily deactivate a user's access and reactivate it at a later time. This is a convenient way to temporarily stop access without having to completely remove the person from the system.

Choosing between multiple organization roles

It may happen that a user has multiple organization roles, such as both Staff Member and Internship Supervisor. In that case, you can choose which of those roles apply to this specific portfolio. This way, you determine per person which set of permissions they need at that moment.

Automatically revoking access

In the web environment, it is possible to set a role to be automatically revoked after a certain period. This is particularly functional for individuals with whom the collaboration is temporary, ensuring you do not have to manually terminate access after a certain date has passed.
