Copying items from another Reconcept portfolio

When you follow different training programs throughout your career, you often build up multiple portfolios within Reconcept. To bring your previous experiences and evidence into a new portfolio, you can easily copy items. This is particularly useful when starting a follow-up specialization after a basic training, allowing you to keep relevant assessments or reports in your current environment. You can find this feature in your current portfolio under Portfolio settings > Copy items from Reconcept portfolio.

Selecting a source portfolio

On the settings page, you will see an overview of all other portfolios linked to your account. To start, select the portfolio from which you want to retrieve information into your current environment.

Choosing items to copy

Once you select a portfolio, a list of available interview records, assessments, and other activities will appear. You can choose the specific components you want to transfer. Please note that statements of proficiency cannot be copied because the underlying skills and requirements differ per portfolio; however, you can easily have these signed off again in your new portfolio.

Finding copied items

After copying, the items are immediately visible in the overview on the settings page. You will also find them in your general overview of learning activities, where they are clearly marked with the label "Copied".

Linking to the current portfolio

When you open a copied item, you have the option to manually link it to the topics in your current portfolio. This allows you to make an old item relevant to your new training program, ensuring it appears, for example, in the overview of a specific EPA.
