The individual portfolio
The portfolio in Reconcept is the central location where all of a learner's acquired experiences, assessments, and skills are gathered. It serves as a digital collection of professional development, including the associated statements of proficiency earned during a career or training program.
Portfolio structure
Every portfolio follows a specific structure tailored to the training program or the current career phase of the learner. This setup can align with a local or national curriculum, or it may follow a general Reconcept template, such as the supervisor portfolio.
We use the term learner broadly here. It can refer to someone in training, someone being onboarded, or someone using a portfolio for lifelong learning.
Because the portfolio structure is specific to its context, certain components discussed in this documentation might not appear in the portfolio you are viewing, or they might be labeled differently. Therefore, we use general terms in these guides. For instance, we refer to skills rather than more specific terms like EPAs.
Accessing the portfolio
The learner maintains a high level of control over who has access to their portfolio within Reconcept. To learn more about how permissions are managed and who can view specific sections, read more in the section Portfolio access management.
