Giving a user a new portfolio
Users in Reconcept can be given a portfolio. A portfolio is a defined file for (part of) the training or professional development of an employee. A user can have multiple portfolios consecutively, for example for preliminary training and subsequent specialty training, but generally has only one active portfolio at a time.
Assigning a portfolio to a new user
When you add a new user to the organization, we will immediately ask if you also want to provide a portfolio, depending on the chosen role. This ensures that a learner can start collecting evidence immediately after their first login.
Giving a portfolio to an existing user
If you want to give an existing user a portfolio, go to User Management > Users in this organization and click on the relevant user. Then choose Give a portfolio. You will see the portfolios available for this organization and whether the user already has them. To provide a portfolio, choose Give this portfolio.
If the user already has the portfolio in question but it is currently deactivated, you can also reactivate the portfolio from this screen.
Tip: keep in mind that the costs for Reconcept are based on the number of active portfolios. Giving a new portfolio incurs costs.Updated on: 08/05/2026
