Personal goals in Reconcept
Every portfolio focuses on core skills and specific topics. Because every professional development journey is unique, Reconcept allows for the addition of personal goals. This gives the individual growth of the learner a prominent place within the platform. It not only helps the learner maintain focus but also provides assessors and clinical competence committees with the necessary guidance to offer targeted support during the training process.
Creating and describing goals
A goal consists of a short title and optionally a detailed description. A specific target date can be assigned to the goal. All created goals can be found centrally in the portfolio under the Goals section.
Linking to skills
It is possible to connect a goal to the standard topics or skills already present in the portfolio. When this link is established, the goal is also directly visible on the specific page of the relevant skill. This ensures an integrated overview of both the general requirements and the personal ambitions of the learner regarding those topics.
Gathering evidence through learning activities
As the learner gains new experiences and records them in the portfolio, these learning activities can be linked to the established goals. By linking forms or other pieces of evidence to a goal, it becomes clear which concrete steps have been taken to achieve a specific objective.
