You can add a new goal to the portfolio in several ways. Depending on where you do this, the goal is either linked directly to a specific component or placed as a standalone goal in the overview.
Adding goals via the general overview

Adding notes to a goal
Both the learner and the assessor can manually add notes to a goal. This is an accessible way to record a brief observation, an interim update, or an agreement made. These notes are preserved within the history of the goal.
Linking forms and evidence

You can link a goal to other topics in the portfolio, such as skills. This helps in setting goals that specifically support the achievement of certain skills. In this way, personal development is directly connected to the standard components of the training program.
Editing and linking goals

When a goal has been achieved or is no longer relevant, it can be completed or archived. This keeps the portfolio overview up to date and ensures the focus remains on the goals the learner is currently working on.
Marking goals as completed or archiving
