Your portfolio is set up based on your program and therefore each portfolio has unique components. The basic components of the portfolio are explained below.

Navigating portfolio

Q: What to do if I forget my password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can use the Forgot Password button on the login screen. Then enter your email address and you will receive an email with a link to set a new password. You can also change your password yourself via account settings. If you no longer have access to the email address to which you have set your account to, and you do not remember your password, please contact our support department ( <a href="mailto:support@reconcept.nl">support@reconcept.nl</a>). Mention in the email your old email address with your Dutch BIG number (if you have one) and the new email address you want to link your account to.

Open a portfolio of yourself or one you have access to. Use the black menu on the left side of the page to navigate through the different sections of the portfolio.

Summary page

By default you land on the Summary page of the portfolio. Here all important information of the portfolio is briefly summarized, for example the current levels per professional activity, your last interviews or open learning objectives.

All learning activities

The All learning activities page provides an overview of the most recent learning activities added to the portfolio. The various filters at the top of the overview allow you to differentiate the type of form, such as an assessment, interview or activity or you have the option to select a specific time period from which you want to see the learning activities.

Getting started: trainees

When you start your program a portfolio will be created for you in the organization where you are in the training program. You will automatically receive an email with which you can start using your account and portfolio. With your own portfolio you record your learning activities and make your learning process visible.

With the following three steps you activate your portfolio:

Go to the activation email and click on the link
Go through the steps to get your account in use
Download the Reconcept EPA Portfolio App

You will receive an email from us with an activation link. Through this link you activate your account and go through the onboarding. In the onboarding you set the following important things:

A password. You use the password to log in to new devices. You don't have to log in every time.
A Pin. we use a personal PIN that acts like a digital signature and as an additinal security measure when inactivity occurs . You can choose your own 5 digit code. Remember your pin well!
Give access to affected persons. You can link your supervisors who will provide you with feedback.

The Reconcept EPA Portfolio app

With the Reconcept EPA Portfolio app you can collect briefly and quickly feedback in practice. Your supervisor can approve completed feedback and assessments directly on your phone using his PIN. So you don't have to use two separate devices.

Note: The app has less functionality than the browser environment on a laptop or computer. We are working on adding more functionalities soon. More information on how to use the app and what you can do with it can be found in this article

How do I install the app?

You can find the app by searching Reconcept EPA Portfolio. The app can be used on iOS (iPhone) and Android devices. You can find the app by searching in the Apple Appstore or Google Play Store.

Using the app

In the menu you will find the folowing options:

The home icon leads back to the home screen.
The user icon leads to your portfolio.
The plus button in the middle allows you to add and request learning activities and learning tools. This can be for your own portfolio or for a portfolio of someone you has given you access.
The bell icon leads to the overview of your pending actions and drafs.

Getting started: assessors

Are you a supervisor? Read these instructions!

When your account is made by the oganization you work for, you'll receive an email from us with an activation link. Through this link you can activate your account. You'll need to set the following important things:

A password. You'll need to use the password for logging in on new devices. You don't need to login every single time.
A PIN. You use the pin as a digital 'signature' which functions as an extra safety regulation for carrying out important actions. On top of that, you can use the pin to unlock your screen after a period of inactivity. So remember your PIN!

After you have set these things, you can log in through … As supervisor you've got the possibility to contribute in the portfolios of people you work with. In order to do so, the portfolio owner needs to give you access to their portfolio. You can read more about this on the page Roles & Rights

Tour of the Dashboard

When you are logged in, you'll end up on your own Dashboard. From the Dashboard you can navigate quickly to different options within Reconcept EPA. A few convenient possibilities are discussed here below:

All portfolios you have access to

Here you'll find an overview of all the portfolios you are allowed to view and contribute to. You can only see the portfolios of portfolio owners who have given you access to you. You can find more information about that

Roles & Permissions

The role you set for a user determines the authorizations and access rights in portfolios. The training determines in advance which roles get which privileges and access rights. It is therefore important that you always give the correct role to a user! With maximum authorizations you can change levels of competence in portfolios and only persons who are authorized to do so may grant this. The details of the different authorizations and access per role can be found at Add new users

It is important to note that there is a difference in a user's permissions and viewing rights to the portfolio.

Permissions in a portfolio

The organization you work for creates an account for you and sets a role for you. Depending on your role, you will be given certain access in a portfolio. The various permissions are set differently for each role and can be: More information can be found in Permissions.
