Quick Tour of the Portfolio

Your portfolio is set up based on your program and therefore each portfolio has unique components. The basic components of the portfolio are explained below.

*You may see items in your portfolio that are not explained here. If you have questions about another specific part of the portfolio, please consult your program or ask one of our support team.

Navigating portfolio

Open a portfolio of yourself or one you have access to. Use the black menu on the left side of the page to navigate through the different sections of the portfolio.

Summary page

By default you land on the Summary page of the portfolio. Here all important information of the portfolio is briefly summarized, for example the current levels per professional activity, your last interviews or open learning objectives.

All learning activities

The All learning activities page provides an overview of the most recent learning activities added to the portfolio. The various filters at the top of the overview allow you to differentiate the type of form, such as an assessment, interview or activity or you have the option to select a specific time period from which you want to see the learning activities.

When you start your program a portfolio will be created for you in the organization where you are in the training program. You will automatically receive an email with which you can start using your account and portfolio. With your own portfolio you record your learning activities and make your learning process visible.

With the following three steps you activate your portfolio:

Go to the activation email and click on the link
Go through the steps to get your account in use
Download the Reconcept EPA Portfolio App

You will receive an email from us with an activation link. Through this link you activate your account and go through the onboarding. In the onboarding you set the following important things:

A password. You use the password to log in to new devices. You don't have to log in every time.
A Pin. we use a personal PIN that acts like a digital signature and as an additinal security measure when inactivity occurs . You can choose your own 5 digit code. Remember your pin well!
Give access to affected persons. You can link your supervisors who will provide you with feedback.

I am missing items form my imported portfolio, where can I find them?

Accepted Answer

You can transfer your old (non-Reconcept EPA Portfolio) portfolio to Reconcept EPA . An upload is designed for this purpose, especially for the specialty you work with.

You may not be able to find all components after the import. This may be because the download from your old program only includes the validated forms. Drafts from your old portfolio cannot be included, you have to import them again separately in Reconcept EPA .

It could also be that not all items could be categorized properly. This means that the Reconcept EPA system could not immediately find where some of the forms should go in your Reconcept EPA portfolio. It is possible to then categorize these forms yourself and indicate where you want them to be, to do this follow these steps:

Click on the key icon at the top left of the screen
Go to import old portfolio
Select the displayed items and enter the desired category.

Why can't I add a user?

Accepted Answer

Medical users must be registered in the Dutch BIG register (if applicable). By checking the BIG numbers, we avoid confusion and keep the platform safe. You can search by 11-digit BIG numbers. These must be typed together, without spaces or dashes. You can also search by last name and/or initials, the BIG number will also be displayed. This Dutch BIG number is linked to the account, so it is important to check if the BIG number shown is correct.

Should you fail to create an account despite the above instructions, for example because the system indicates that the e-mail address is already in use, please contact support@reconcept.nl. They can create the account using the name, BIG number (if applicable), email address and a role of the user to be added, please include these details in the email.

Permissions and viewing rights as supervisor

As a supervisor, you must first gain access to the portfolio, which can be given by the portfolio owner, in order to contribute. Don't see a portfolio on your dashboard? Then you do not have access to this portfolio. The portfolio owner needs to give you access in the access management, see here

My account has been blocked, now what?

Accepted Answer

If you have tried to log in five times with an incorrect email address and password, your account will be blocked. If your account is blocked, an email will be sent to the email address that your account is set to. With this mail you can reset your password, which will unblock your account. Then use your email address and new password to log in again.
